MUNK, the bao and bahn-mi, food & drinks bar and venue was set to open in Fortitude Valley in late January 2017. It was a joint venture between some of Brisbane's most respected in the culinary & hospitality Industry.
The logo is inspired by one of the owner's cat, as is the name. The cat's name, Munk had already become the label for the business so it was pretty clear that the cat was to be a feature. Picking from the eastern influence of the food, concepts took us to Tibet and the orange the monks wear. The two concepts were fused to create not only and iconic logo but a solid colour scheme.
All relevant assets were prepared prior to the set up of the shop front including, websites, menus, business cards, wrapping paper, take-away bags, glass decals and of course the signature Vietnamese Iced Latte cups.
