THE ART & WORK OF FROYD

In early 2012 founder of Brisbane clothing label, Chess Club Collective - Andrew Davies approached in hopes of obtaining a designer who could turn his concepts into reality. Over a strong three and half years he's handed over his love of chess and it was turned into a full-blown, marketable brand.

 

The first piece 'The Crypt Keeper'; a purple suited, skeleton playing dinosaur chess, began our working relationship and it wasn't long before countless designs we're being ordered. As the marketing campaigns rolled out the designs found the bodies of many women and stylish dudes.

 

From singlets, tees, snapbacks and iphone cases and many other odd requests Chess Club Collective has played well with what it was. 

 

All the designs are original pieces in concept and creation.
